A Beautiful New Space

Eager to make some changes, this Northern Virginia couple was looking for ideas to open and brighten their late 1970’s split-entry home. Having recently completed a large kitchen and sunroom addition project for friends of theirs, they were excited to see what the same Case team could do for them.

We began by removing all the walls between the kitchen, dining and living room which allowed sunlight to flow throughout the main gathering area. Next, we introduced a blend of white and grey cabinetry and white quartz countertops with subtle veining patterns that continued up the full-height backsplash. To balance the cooler tones, tasteful accents of natural materials were introduced throughout. Dark walnut accents the island, fireplace and living room built-ins. Floor-to-ceiling natural stone around the fireplace creates a dramatic focal point. Wider oak flooring in a light tone was chosen and runs throughout the entire main level.

Take a look at their stunning new space – we’re almost finished!
