The Opportunity
Both clients knew they wanted a larger, more functional kitchen, but one envisioned a modern space while the other had a more traditional style.
The Outcome
In the end, the clients agreed on a sleek, modern look. We widened the opening between the dining room and kitchen and used high-gloss cabinets in white and light gray to allow more light to reflect in the space, since the only window looked out to the neighbors’ brick wall. We went with bright blue glass tiles to add a pop of color. The quartz peninsula top has a glass overhang that helps transition into the adjacent elevated family room.
