Case Launches Choices

Bethesda, MD – September 13, 2010 – Case Design/Remodeling, Inc., a leading D.C. Metro area home improvement company, today announced "Choices", the company's new service model. "Choices" is an aggressive and innovative reinterpretation of the home remodeling experience. The concept behind "Choices" is to provide the customer with a variety of flexible options presented throughout the remodeling process.

"Choices" places control squarely in the customer's hands, empowering them to pursue their remodeling needs and wants in a way that matches their lifestyle and budget. The four components of the service include:

  1. Choose Your Designer: Customers have the opportunity to select their designer based on individual preference, experience and personality. Case employs some of the D.C. Metro Area's premier designers. With over 20 designers on staff, the quality of Case design comes from the expertise and commitment of its professional, experienced and talented design team.
  2. Choose How to Buy: Case offers three billing options, regardless of project size. These alternatives are designed to provide customers exceptional flexibility when determining level of investment and represent an aggressive reinvention of traditional remodeling billing structures.
    • Hourly Agreement
    • Fixed Price Agreement
    • Design Agreement – The design services option is for someone interested in reviewing the possibilities for their space without necessarily proceeding with immediate construction.
  3. Choose Your Level of Involvement: Case has developed creative ways for clients to build their dream project and stay within budget. This option provides customers with unique, adaptable remodeling possibilities that directly affect cost and are unparalleled in the industry. These may include the following:
    • The homeowner completes the demo
    • The homeowner provides the appliances or other materials
    • The homeowner completes the finishing touches like painting or trim work
  4. Choose Your Level of Project: With Case, there are three project levels to choose from. Many companies will allow homeowners to select one or two of these options, but not all three. Case designers help homeowners to determine the best project category based on a variety of criteria including personal preference, existing conditions, existing layout and level of investment. The "Choices" project levels also provide a great way to simplify remodeling for the homeowner, since customers are easily able to select an option and work within those parameters. "Choices" project levels include:
    • Cosmetic Update – A cosmetic update involves changing easily removed products.
    • Pull and Replace – A "pull and replace" remodel means that everything in the room is replaced, but nothing changes location.
    • Custom – With a custom renovation the sky is the limit. Everything is replaced and oftentimes the room is expanded and reconfigured to improve function and design.

"We understand that current market conditions require companies to offer superior customer service. For Case, we are addressing this challenge with "Choices". This unique service model provides our customers with high quality remodeling and design services that are tailored to individual needs and budgets," commented Bruce Case, president of Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. "Case has taken a bold stance in the remodeling industry by our willingness to work flexibly and by allowing homeowners to drive the renovation process from start to finish."

In honor of "Choices", Case will launch a new contest, "The Greatest Design Challenge," on Monday, September 20. Please visit www.casedesign.com in the coming days for entry details and deadlines.
