Project Managers

It would be hard to find another team of Project Managers as experienced and qualified to run a remodeling project than the team at Case. Most have been involved in the home remodeling industry for their entire professional careers and certainly know what it takes in effectively and efficiently managing a remodeling project from start to finish. For the larger projects, your project manager will be your main point of contact throughout construction. They will keep you up-to-date on the progress and alert you of any decisions that need to be made along the way.

The project manager team at Case takes great pride in the role they play. Many hold distinguished credentials such as: Green Advantage Certified, Certified Lead Carpenter, Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler, and Lead Paint Certified.

George Bergling

George Bergling

Remodeling has been a part of George's professional career for almost 40 years. His career started in 1971 pouring concrete for a general contractor. A short time later he began pouring concrete for gas stations and eventually began constructing them. In the early '80s, George turned his focus to insurance restoration and remodeling. Serving as a project manager for Case's then insurance restoration division was George's first job at Case 16 years ago. Since then he has served as project manager for the remodeling division.

What most excites George about what he does is the relationship he forms with clients. He thoroughly enjoys helping clients with their home remodeling needs and working with his team toward a common goal. He also loves that every day brings a new challenge.

George is married and has three daughters. In his free time he enjoys gardening and crabbing.


James Wood

James Wood

Residential remodeling has been a part of James' life since he was 14 years old. His involvement in the industry began with him working for his father. After joining several other companies, James began his own company when he was just 22 years old. He still holds his Class "A" contractor license today. James has been working with Case as a project manager since 2006. In addition to his home remodeling experience, James has also been involved in new home construction. In fact, he built 32 new homes in the early 2000's. In addition to his hands-on construction education, James has taken small business classes at Northern Virginia Community College.

James loves being able to help homeowners build their dream projects. He truly has a passion for the craft and the client's with which he works.

When James is not remodeling homes, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children that range in age from 5-13. His hobbies include coaching his children's soccer teams and hunting.


John Fowler

John Fowler

John has a passion for carpentry. His first job was building furniture. He has worked most of his professional career as a carpenter before taking on a project manager role 6 years ago. During John's 11 years with Case, he has earned many designations including: Green Advantage Certified, Certified Lead Carpenter, Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler, and Lead Paint Certified.

John enjoys the relationship he establishes with his clients and loves to see the transformation from beginning to end.

He currently resides in the Westminster area which is where he has lived for many years. He has four children and enjoys fishing, swimming, and golfing when he can find the time.


Kevin Morrissey

Kevin Morrissey

Shortly after finishing the carpentry program at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Kevin relocated to the DC metro area to begin his career in the home improvement field. He joined the Case team in 1981. He spent many years as a lead carpenter before moving on to a Project Manager's role in 1999.

Kevin most enjoys working as a "partner" with his clients. He believes by putting himself in his "client's shoes", it allows him to see things from their perspective during a remodeling project. He firmly believes that consistent communication is essential to ensuring a successful remodeling experience. He takes great pride in the end product and seeing that his client's expectations are met. He received the Case Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

Married for 27 years, Kevin and his wife, Sue, have two grown children. Kevin is an avid golf enthusiast and enjoys landscaping and gardening in his spare time.


Loren Sanders

Loren Sanders

Loren has been a project manager and carpenter in the remodeling industry for many years. He has been a valuable Case team member for the past 11 years. He began his career with Case as a carpenter and shortly after was promoted to project manager. His experience is diverse and includes: additions, siding windows, roofing, kitchens, bathrooms and more.

Loren has won several prestigious awards while with Case and has received designations to include Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC) and a lead paint certification (RRP). He enjoys seeing the final product after all of the planning and hard work and being able to make client's dreams come true.

During his spare time, Loren likes to relax and spend time with his family.


Rich Gettys

Rich Gettys

Rich has been in the remodeling business since the early '70s. Early on in his career his focus was on commercial renovations. In the early '90s he started a residential remodeling business. Rich joined Case in 1999 as a craftsman and was quickly promoted to project manager in 2000. Rich currently leads a team of 6 carpenters.

He is lead paint certified and has won several production awards during his tenure with Case. Rich loves seeing a project through to completion and the happy client's he creates.

Married for forty years, Rich has three children and three grandchildren with whom he loves to spend his free time. Born and raised in Maryland, he currently resides in Lanham, MD.


Tom Craze

Tom Craze

When it comes to home remodeling, Tom has done it all. He has been in the remodeling industry for more than 32 years. Prior to joining Case, Tom worked for the State Department as a carpenter and owned his own business. He joined Case 13 years ago as a carpenter and was soon promoted to a project manager role. Tom's professional experience is complemented with a long list of credentials. He completed a 4-year program at Montgomery College for carpentry and renovations. He has also earned Certified Lead Carpenter, Green Advantage Certified, and Certified Renovator for Lead Paint designations. He is also a proud recipient of the Case Project Manager Top Gun Award for four years.

Tom takes pride in supervising in his words "such a respected group of talented craftsmen". He also loves the clients he works with and truly creating "clients for life".

Growing up in the Washington Metropolitan Area, Tom currently resides in Montgomery County, MD with his wife of 28 years and their two children. He loves spending time outdoors mountain biking, target shooting, kayaking, whitewater rafting and camping.


Dale Tucker

Dale Tucker

Dale has been in residential remodeling for over twenty years. From an early age he knew he enjoyed building things. He began his career in high school when his brother, who was also a carpenter, connected him to a job opportunity. Since then his experiences have included: building custom homes, owning a custom home building business, working for a commercial cabinet company and running his own custom furniture business. Dale has been a project manager at Case for the past nine years. He is passionate about what he does and loves turning his client's home improvement dreams into reality.

A graduate of Richard Montgomery High School, Dale later earned his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Arts Education from the University of Maryland in College Park. He is lead paint certified.

Dale currently lives in Northern Silver Spring with his wife of twenty four years and six golden retrievers. He has two children ages twenty one and sixteen. He enjoys recreational volleyball, camping, and riding his motorcycle.
